Douglas Adeola

Douglas holds a Bachelor of Education degree
in Adult Education with English and a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict
Studies. He also holds Certificates in Advertising and Information Systems Management
and Community-driven development. Douglas has 20 years’ experience in the
private/development sectors. He has expertise in community engagement, facilitating
multi-stakeholder dialogue and negotiation.
Likewise, he has extensive experience building people’s capacity to
manage conflict and build peace in their localities; mobilizing stakeholders
and managing stakeholders’ relations, designing and managing community
development programmes; conducting studies/surveys; and facilitating training
activities. Douglas has been involved in the development of series of proposals
and their implementation; and has consulted on many development projects spanning
various sectors for different bilateral, multilateral and private organizations. He enjoys working in teams, brainstorming,
engaging in intellectual discussions and has passion for governance and
community development.
