As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting employee health and well-being, the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Committee of the Foundation organized three health seminars in the first quarter of the year. The sessions focused on Stress Management and Building Emotional Resilience, Understanding Blood Pressure, and Prostate Health, providing staff with valuable insights to support their physical and emotional wellness.
At the Stress Management seminar, staff were introduced to practical self-care strategies isuch as maintaining a balanced diet and regular physical activity, prioritizing quality sleep, seeking social support and taking mental breaks. The session also highlighted helpful tools like journaling, mindfulness, and creative expression for managing stress.
During the second seminar “Understanding Blood Pressure”, staff gained insight into maintaining healthy blood pressure through regular exercise, reduced salt intake, effective weight and stress management, and reducing alcohol consumption.
