New Nigeria Foundation facilitated onboarding programmes for the Board of Trustees (BoTs) and management and advisory committees of the Host Communities Development Trusts (HCDTs) of Green Energy International Limited/LEKOil Oil and Gas Investments Limited Joint Venture from 23rd to 28th January 2023 at Corporate Residence, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. This is in line with the requirements of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) for which NNF is providing technical support to oil and gas companies. The onboarding improved the understanding of the BoTs and members of the management and advisory committees on the HCDT, its objectives, and operations; their roles and responsibilities; and the standard operating procedures for the effective running of the HCDTs.
