NNF Participates in Ford Foundation’s Interactive Forum

NNF team, comprising Layide Adesanya, Bunmi Olatunde and Chikodi Chiedo participated in Ford Foundation’s Interactive Forum on New Global Program Strategy on 15th December 2015. The event held at the Ford Foundation office, Lagos with over 70 people in attendance. Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, Country Representative of Ford Foundation informed participants that the Foundation has identified inequality as an overarching issue to be confronted going forward. Mr Chukwumma presented Ford’s regional goal as “inclusive, safe and democratic West Africa that places its youthful population and women at the center of finding solutions to major challenges confronting the region, especially inequalities around educational achievements, voice and participation, and quality employment in focal countries – Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal. Ford Foundation is the major sponsor of the Forum on Inclusive Nigerian Development (FIND) being implemented by NNF and the Consensus Building Institute
