NNF Conducts Value Chain Studies in 16 States

New Nigeria Foundation in collaboration with Context Network of West Des Moines, Iowa, U.S. conducted value chain studies on six agricultural commodities (cowpea, sorghum, millet, plantain,groundnut and maize) in 16 states from three geopolitical zones of Nigeria: North-West (Kano, Katsina,Zamfara, Sokoto), North-Central (Kaduna, Niger,Benue, Plateau) and the Southern part of Nigeria(Lagos, Oyo, Bayelsa, Osun, Ondo, Edo, Akwa Ibom and Rivers) including the Federal Capital territory(FCT). The studies were conducted from October 2014 to January 2015 with support from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
