NNF lost one of its board members, Prof. Tekena Tamuno, on 11th April 2015. He was a distinguished historian, intellectual and poet. Late Emeritus Prof. Tamuno was a former Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, and served as Chancellor, Redeemer’s University, Ede; Chancellor, Bells University, Ota; Chairman of the Presidential Panel on National Security and Chairman, Panel on Policing Nigeria Project. He joined NNF Board in 2003 and contributed immensely to the growth and development of the Foundation until his demise. He was 83 years old. Members of staff will remember him for his friendliness, sense of humour and interest in engaging young people in discussions on national issues. The Board, Management and members of staff of NNF will miss him dearly.
