New Nigeria Foundation Participates in Multi-Stakeholder Workshop on Private Security Training and Professional Development

Tosin Adebusuyi represented New Nigeria Foundation at a one-day Multi-stakeholder Workshop on Private Security Training and Professional Development organized by the African Law Foundation in partnership with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and the Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) Switzerland. The workshop was held on Monday, 17th March 2024, at the Valencia Hotel, Wuse 2, Abuja, with funding support from DCAF Switzerland through the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (UK FCDO).

The session brought together NSCDC, private security companies, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders to explore current challenges in private security training and professional development. Participants engaged in dialogue and shared recommendations to improve training frameworks and drive innovation in Nigeria’s private security sector.
