The PRiFN project aims to address the high prevalence of micronutrient deficiency in Nigeria by introducing voluntary rice fortification. NNF’s role involves working with different stakeholders, including government, private sector organisations, CSOs, development agencies, research/academic institutions, rice farmers, millers, and the media, to develop a roadmap and standard guidelines for implementing voluntary rice fortification in Nigeria. The approach for implementing the project is based on human-centred design, and the methods include affinity mapping, co-designing, expert interviews, stakeholder engagement and use of digital assets. |
