Unilever Nigeria Plc engaged New Nigeria Foundation to undertake a study to determine the socio-economic status and assess the needs of members of Titito community in Agbara, Ogun State. The specific objectives of the study were to:
- determine the socio-economic status and needs of the community;
- identify the different stakeholder groups – their key influencers and decision makers;
- identify the community development activities in the community or the larger Agbara community implemented by other companies and Unilever; and
- collect any other relevant information that may help in determining what form of community relations strategy/plan that can be adopted by Unilever.
